There is a large public transport network in the city however, buses can sometimes move very slowly, especially since the majority of vehicles are outdated. Those who consider going out of the city center can alternatively take trams, buses or trolleybuses. You can fold the entire square within a few minutes. The central bus station of the city is called Autobusová Stanica. In Bratislava, the trains are only used for intercity or international journeys. The central railway station, called Hlavná Stanica, is located a fifteen to twenty minute walk north of the city center. In the historic area of the city there are two big squares named Hlavne Namestie (main square) and Hviezdoslav Namestie (Hviezdoslav Square).
